Morgan Barnaby
Born and raised in Jackson, New Jersey, Morgan Barnaby is a photojournalist and multimedia artist, describing herself as a "people photographer". Barnaby's passion and adaptability have led her to gain experience shooting sports, fashion, product, film and journalistic photography.
Barnaby's studies in psychology greatly inform her approach to her photographic endeavors, enhancing her natural ability to capture emotions and dynamics that surround her. Barnaby’s photographic studies have provided her with ample experience in studio lighting, photojournalism, film photography and creating conceptual fine art pieces.
Her additional background in performance arts helps Barnaby express and digest feelings of loss, pain and control by utilizing herself as the subject of her conceptual film pieces. Her work expands upon personal experiences with religion, challenging and drawing parallels to societal expectations.
After earning her Bachelor's degree in Photography and Psychology from Oregon State University, Barnaby currently works local to NJ/PA/NYC shooting music, sports and other freelance work.
